Signature
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Signature is a Grade A commercial office development by Rubberwala Housing & Infrastructure Ltd., strategically located at Jacob Circle in South Mumbai. Known for its legacy in residential real estate, Rubberwala envisioned Signature as a landmark commercial address that would challenge conventional office leasing norms and introduce a new perspective on workplace design, accessibility, and business growth. Positioned in a predominantly residential neighbourhood, the project was designed to offer premium office spaces that combine connectivity, flexibility, and modern business aspirations.
THE CHALLENGE
Launching a Grade A commercial office project in Jacob Circle presented a unique branding and positioning challenge. While the location offered excellent connectivity and urban convenience, it was not traditionally perceived as a commercial destination on par with established business districts such as BKC, Lower Parel, or Nariman Point. Additionally, Signature was being introduced through a joint venture, requiring the brand to establish credibility while creating a distinct identity of its own.
The project also featured bare shell office spaces, a format often perceived as an additional burden for occupiers due to fit-out investments and customization requirements. The challenge was to transform this perceived limitation into a compelling advantage. Beyond location and product considerations, the brand needed to attract decision-makers, entrepreneurs, and corporate occupiers who were accustomed to established commercial ecosystems while simultaneously creating confidence in an emerging office destination. The task was not only to market office space but to redefine how businesses perceived the location, the product, and the future of workplace environments.
